Archer Road

Archer Road is known for an abundance of restaurants, shopping, apartments, and hotels. It is one of the more popular exits in Gainesville for travelers on I-75, exit 384. Therefore, it is one of the main corridors in Gainesville. It takes you through the University of Florida, Shands Hospital, and onto 13th St. to the east. Meanwhile, to the west, follow Archer Road to surrounding communities – Archer, Williston, and Cedar Key. Students and professionals live and work near Archer Rd. due to the convenience of grocery shopping, dining options and the RTS buses (Gainesville Regional Transit System).
